Turtle Rock is a gated family neighborhood on the south side of Palmer Ranch. The community has sidewalks, medium size lots that are lushly landscaped, some with lake and preserve views. Turtle Rock has a community center, pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and nature trail. A five minute drive takes you to Albertson’s, Publix, Target, Blockbuster, Sarasota Square Mall, movie theaters, a newer YMCA, I-75 and many restaurants. The public beach on Siesta Key is a 10 -15 minute drive. The Post Office and a public library are about 5 - 10 minutes away. This is the Riverview High School District which is an excellent school system.

Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club
Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club is located on the south side of Sarasota, on Palmer Ranch. The condos were built in the late 1990's and are garden down, garden up, and villa style condominiums. Most of the condos are turnkey furnished and there is an active on-site rental office for Stoneybrook owners that would like to rent their units.
Equity golf membership is included in some of the condo purchases. (There is one section of condos that has social memberships only.) This is one of the most reasonable golfing communities on the Gulf Coast.

Stoneybrook offers a fitness center, heated pool, tennis courts, garages, driving range and a restaurant is in the club.
Prestancia (a TPC Golf neighborhood)
The Tournament Players Club at Prestancia is perhaps one of the most beautiful private courses ever designed. Set in the heart of Sarasota county, you will find this 18-hole Bermuda Grass course. Built in 1974, and designed by Ron Garl & Mike Souchak.
TPC at Prestancia will change even the best golfers from around the world. This club has two rigorous eighteen hole courses. The Stadium Course was built with spectators in mind, and features mound-lined fairways and bowl-shaped contouring around the greens to provide for better viewing. There are approximately ninety sand bunkers on the course, and several water hazards come into play. There are very few trees on the front nine as compared to the back nine. The Club Course, the shorter of the two courses, was designed in a more traditional style. The fairways are tree lined and many of its greens, like the Stadium Course, are multi-tiered. Both course's have multiple cuts of rough bordering their fairways. This club is the host to the Senior PGA Tour's American Express Invitational. The other tee shown on the Stadium Course is an additional men's tee. Should you ever be in the Sarasota area, check to see if a tournament that is open to the general public. This beautiful course should not be missed.

Promenade Estates - consist of 255 one and two-story single-family homes, ranging in size from 1,499 sq. ft to 3,650 sq. ft. Each home comes equipped with Home is Connected, D.R.
